Videoassistech, a company based in Italy which has been addressing the video assist industry for over 6 years, well known for its on-set previsualization system ‘Cockpit2’, will launch at CINEGEAR 2007 (Los Angeles, June 22 – 23) an innovative software application: CockpitCUBE®.
CockpitCUBE® is the ultimate software framework for professional video assist.
It’s a highly scalable application that can run on any laptop PC or MacBookPro (with Windows XP or Vista) and allows for modular upgrades.
Fully featured, CockpitCUBE® acquires (all-in-one) logs and plays back the video of up to 4 cameras, independently or in synch, and can deliver RT&Live composites to external monitors; upgrades expected to come soon are HDV compatibility and MXF files format.
Presently, CockpitCUBE® records industry standard DV-coded AVI video files.
